Students for Asian Indian Cultural Awareness (SAICA)

Organization Information

Students for Asian Indian Cultural Awareness is a cultural organization that aims to emphasize diversity at TCU. Our organization is open to all students who are interested in exploring different cultures. Last year, our members hailed from several countries including India, Sri Lanka, USA, Mexico, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ecuador and Vietnam.  We promote and share South Asian cultures within the TCU community by indulging in South Asian music, food, ethnic dances, festivals and sports like cricket. These we exhibit through various events conducted around the year, especially The Mela and Experience India. SAICA also provides a great opportunity to meet culturally diverse people within an Asian-Indian enriched environment."
