National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
Organization Information
The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate racial hatred and racial discrimination.
The Texas Christian University chapter strives to serve as the voice for all students, regardless of age, gender, and race. The NAACP is geared towards representing students of the TCU community as well as the surrounding community.
Our vision is to enrich students' lives culturally, socially, and politically; and to achieve a community where diversity is completely embraced, appreciated, and respected. Students can get involved with the Texas Christian University chapter of the NAACP by attending and actively participating in regular meetings and events held by the organization.
